How it worksLearn the basics of I Ching and what to keep in mind. The same six rounds, the same hexagram.

01 · Six rounds, six lines

In time order, rounds one to six form a hexagram from bottom to top. Wins are yang and losses are yin, giving 64 combinations. Enter completed results yourself; real game records are not connected.

02 · Same results, same hexagram

Only the six wins and losses determine the hexagram. Changing your theme or background changes the perspective, not the hexagram. Moving lines and transformed hexagrams are not inferred.

03 · Theme first, background for context

Each theme offers a perspective, reminders and practical suggestions. Local rules recognize some common situations, but cannot understand every complex question or calculate success probabilities. This does not predict later games and does not require extra rounds.

04 · Your question stays on this page

Your question is interpreted locally on this page. It is neither uploaded nor saved. Share cards contain the basic meaning only, without your question or contextual analysis. Refreshing clears your inputs.
